Weighted pins that flip end-over-end when thrown. Clubs add rotation timing to the juggling challenge — visually impressive and satisfying to catch.

Passing clubs between jugglers is one of the most social forms of flow arts. Fire clubs add spectacle to any performance.

Getting started

Start with a single club to learn the flip. Then move to 3-club cascade — the timing is different from balls because you need to account for the rotation.

DIY — Make your own clubs

Clubs require precise weight balance for consistent flipping. DIY is possible but tricky.

Simple practice clubs (30 min, ~10 EUR)

Materials: PVC pipe (30cm, 20mm), wooden dowel (20cm for handle), foam ball (for knob), tape, a weight (bolt or coins)

  1. Insert the dowel into one end of the PVC (handle)
  2. Add weight to the body end (a bolt taped inside)
  3. Attach the foam ball to the top as a knob
  4. Wrap everything in colourful tape
  5. Test the flip — adjust weight until it rotates evenly

For performance quality, buy manufactured clubs — the balance precision matters at 3+ clubs.
