FlowWiki (flowwiki.eu) is operated by toekomst.org, based in the Netherlands.

2. What data we collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. This is required to provide your account.

Content: Wiki articles, hotspot submissions, and event submissions you create are stored and publicly visible.

Technical data: We may collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and maintenance purposes.

3. What we do NOT collect

  • We do not use tracking cookies or analytics services
  • We do not serve advertisements
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties
  • We do not track your browsing behavior across other websites

4. How we use your data

  • To provide and maintain your account
  • To display your contributions on the platform
  • To send essential account-related emails (password resets)

We will never send marketing emails or newsletters without your explicit consent.

5. Data storage

Your data is stored on servers operated by toekomst.org using Appwrite, a self-hosted open-source backend. Data is stored within Europe.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format

FlowWiki uses a single essential cookie (appwrite_session) to keep you logged in. This is a functional cookie required for the platform to work. We do not use any tracking or advertising cookies.
